So what’s an alien to do when his mate refuses to say what’s bothering him? Why, he sends a deep space message to his mate’s mother on earth, what else?
Keyno not only learns the importance of Christmas to his chosen, he’s also shocked and confused as to why Dale hasn’t shared this with him. There is no such celebration on Tah’Nar, but that doesn’t stop Keyno from trying to bring happiness to Dale. He’s not only a starship captain, he’s also an excellent strategist. He gathers his closest friends—Doc and Gibor—and researchers the holiday.
He finds three important things about Christmas First there is an older, heavyset male called the Santa Claus. The second is the holiday usually revolves around a tree laden with shiny baubles and lights with gifts under it. And finally they learn they’re supposed to eat way too much, then lie around and moan because they ate too much.
Humans are so odd.
These mighty warriors survived the birth of their young, surely an undertaking of this magnitude is not beyond their grasp. Hopefully Dale will be pleased with all the trouble Keyno went to. But just in case, Keyno has a very special surprise in store for his chosen for his first Tah’Narian Christmas.

Keyno and Dale are settled into their life and their twins are six years old. Dale is happy and loved, completely fulfilled but the season of Christmas is approaching. He's thinking of his kids, of his past, and happy memories. He wants that for his kids. But Christmas isn't a tradition in his new life and the religious aspect is a no go. So Dale doesn't bring up his unhappiness with Keyno because he feels nothing can be done. The Harvest: A Tah'Narian Christmas is about family: Those we are born to and those we choose. Remembering the past and making new memories. Many of the characters from the series show up but of course the children steal the show. A few tongue in cheek comments had me snorting. Nothing like showing aliens what a traditional family Christmas is all about. A wonderful story and on my re-read list. - Dan's Wife

The Harvest A Tah'Narian Christmas edition by MA Church Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is porn. Yes, that’s right. It should have categorized as such, but since it was not, the author put this in fraudulently. I threw out this garbage book early on.
This was everything a holiday should be! Love and laughter and joy, joy, joy! I know first hand how it feels to be torn between Christmas present and Christmases past. For Keyno to bring Dale's family in from another planet demonstrates the power of love. This could have just as easily been a holiday at my house with family and friends from near and far gathering to enjoy the day and each other. Despite not having read the previous two books I could feel the strong emotions driving the characters. I attribute that to the amazing writing.
Dammit, Dale!
I will never get tired of reading that line. Great follow-up to The Harvest 1 & 2. We got some more closure, and a view into the future for the young of all our favorite pairs. The chemistry between all the characters, sexual and platonic, is on point and evocative. I enjoyed this short and selfishly wish for more. 5 Stars!
I was so thrilled to see that she had made another one with this fantastic group of characters that I can't get enough of!
I keep reading over the other's over and over because I find them so hard to resist. I really kept thinking 'she should continue with the series , I love the characters, they are so enthralling,funny,dramatic...etc .. so touching to see the love between Kayno and Dale. and the young.
I wish she would make more series of them and the next chapter of Takeo and szen would be so great! You are amazing at creating these creatures and the family connection. This is the series I enjoy the most. please continue it ' I would buy and read them all ..again.
It was so good to get another story about Dale and his mate and children. It was great to catch up with all the other characters and see how they were getting on in their new homes. This is an excellent follow on from the other two books in the series. I hope the author writes more about the Tah'Narians. Highly recommended!!
I really loved reading this wonderfully written book. I love the relationship between Keyno and Dale. I love the idea about most the people are different but still family and friends. This book really funny the writer of this book wrote a beautiful book. I will recommend this book to everybody I know and to all my friends too. I love the twists and turns of this book.
I downloaded this as a freebie, not really knowing what it was about. This particular book I found to be a flowing, nice, Christmas day story. In itself, it did not grab me too much as a freestanding story. I kept hoping something would happen - perhaps some kind of conflict or drama. However when I reached the back pages of the book I realised that there is a series that the characters from this book are in (The Harvest Taken (#1) The Harvest Journey's End (#2)). Reading the blurbs of those, even though they are numbered 1 and 2, I wish I'd known about them and read them in advance of this one. This Christmas one seems to be set after the other two books (from what I interpret from the blurbs of #1 and #2), yet it isn't indicated anywhere that this one is part of a series (let alone #3). It is a common practice for the first book of an ongoing story to be free, rather than the last book, so I was left feeling a little bit confused at the last / most further along story being the one that had the $0 price tag on it, which promotes people to read it without knowing there are other books before it?
